Elizabeth “Liz” Lanzhammer is an associate attorney with our firm. Liz concentrates her practice in family law, including divorce, child support, child placement and stepparent adoptions, as well as guardianships and civil litigation, with an emphasis on providing practical services for each client’s individual and unique circumstances. She is an active member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Dane County Bar Association, the Columbia County Bar Association and the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association.
Liz graduated with her Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University – College of Law, and her Bachelor of Science from Millikin University. During her time in law school, Liz was active in the Public Interest Law Society and Latino/a Law Student Association. During school breaks, she earned her Pro Bono certificate for her work as a volunteer with Community Justice Inc. Liz was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Alan J. White of Columbia County.
Liz spent a year in AmeriCorps where she volunteered with the Florida State Parks. In her spare time, Liz is an active member of the Junior League of Madison, a non-profit volunteer and philanthropic organization working to enhance the well-being of women and children in our community.
